Single Station Ultrasonic “Dip” Tank System

             Ultrasonic test system configured to perform an Ultrasonic Velocity test on ductile iron castings with the ability to expand to flaw detection.  The mechanics is designed for hand loading/hand unloading of the casting.  Acceptable castings will automatically be stamped with an industrial impact marker prior to removal from the fixture plate.  The mechanics assembly is complete with a water circulation and filtration system and a thermostat controlled water heater.  An adjustable skimmer tube assembly will control the water level in the test tank.  There are sensors for monitoring the water level in the reservoir and an Auto-Fill valve for automatically adding water to the reservoir when a Low-Water condition occurs.  A light curtain assembly is used on the front edge of the test tank to protect the operator from the firing of the automatic impact marker.  The mechanics is flexible in design to allow for changing to different fixture plates and different stamp locations.  Designed to be interfaced with the AMERICAN NDT AX-10 Ultrasonic tester, but can be adapted to other instruments inputs
